How do I feel, better than most
I’ve got my hand up, waiting to boast
That I’m a record breaker baby I’m the best that you’ve seen
I’m a record breaker baby and you know what I mean
I’ve got the anthem, we can dance all night
The music’s sweeter from my soul than all the candy you supply
See as a record breaker baby you dance like a machine
Yeah I’m a record breaker baby all the honey’s in me
You’re so, you’re so, you’re so, you’re so
Ain’t got no answers, I take it back
You made a fool of my wolf’s clothing and I’m down with the pack
See as a record breaker babe those out to kill call you mean
Yeah I’m a record breaker babe, just to survive I must be free
You’re so, you’re so, you’re so, you’re so
You say I’m so this, so what! You play em till you keep em’ shut
Revolution spreads herself wide
You say I’m just so, what you know? Let’s liberate the radio
Come see my soul amplified, I like it live
See I’m a record breaker babe I know you feel it in me
Yeah I don’t wanna separate us, we’s just got to be free
Cause I’m the party I’m the peach come take a bite outta me
Ground breakin’ record breaker babe just to survive I must be me
You’re so, you’re so, you’re so, you’re so, you’re so what

“Reb Fountain is to be counted among our finest songwriters whose imagery is both personal and universal, and her command of a melody and a song transcends genre.” - Graham Reid, Elsewhere.co.nz
If Suzanne Vega started this decade she might have sounded like this, good acoustic guitar song observations with a novelistic eye, and a support band that embellishes but never overpowers the music. Found this artist only this year thanks to a Milk Records compilation, which proves they work. Favourite track: "How Much", simply superb, but also check "Sparklers" and "Kore Waits in the Underworld". agutterfan

The fave song title has to be a pun on the Canadian national anthem and yes I'm late to this party :) Liked the light touch to the extra strings and horns. Just enough to add colour and swing. Jason Kemp
