Down in the caverns, down in the mines, I am waiting for you and one of your kind
You’ll find the answers you’ll find the time, down in the caves you’ll find mine
Get out your pick axe and chip at the stones, it’s too dark to see when you’re nearing my home
If you strike copper or silver or lime it’s the moment that counts not what you’ve left behind
Find me, find me, find me and I’ll find you
Past the orchard, past January’s well, ‘neath the tall punga trees where we first kissed, first fucked
Grace hung like windmills high on the hill, danced ‘neath the rain, got wet when we touched
I don’t dare go there except for with you, one bite of the apple may reveal it’s not true
So baby I’ll wait here, live here with you, die in the moment like you wanted me to
Find me, find me, find me and I’ll find you
Keep singin’ in the same old groove, take the needle out and I’ll keep spinning
Keep singin’ in the same old groove scratch the surface and I’ll keep spinning
Keep singin’ in the same old groove

“Reb Fountain is to be counted among our finest songwriters whose imagery is both personal and universal, and her command of a melody and a song transcends genre.” - Graham Reid, Elsewhere.co.nz
If Suzanne Vega started this decade she might have sounded like this, good acoustic guitar song observations with a novelistic eye, and a support band that embellishes but never overpowers the music. Found this artist only this year thanks to a Milk Records compilation, which proves they work. Favourite track: "How Much", simply superb, but also check "Sparklers" and "Kore Waits in the Underworld". agutterfan

The fave song title has to be a pun on the Canadian national anthem and yes I'm late to this party :) Liked the light touch to the extra strings and horns. Just enough to add colour and swing. Jason Kemp
